Meet Gareth Jones

My work sits between landscape and documentary photography, focusing on the everyday environments we move through and often overlook. Based in South Wales, I take a quiet, observational approach to photographing places where human design and the natural world intersect — from wider landscapes to small details and alternative perspectives seen from above.

Alongside this work, I have over 20 years’ experience as a professional photographer. That background has shaped a way of working rooted in awareness, patience, and an unobtrusive presence, allowing moments, spaces, and traces of use to reveal themselves naturally.
